How I Work: The Therapeutic Toolbox
Because no two people are the same, therapy with me is not "one size fits all." I use diverse, integrative techniques to meet you exactly where you are. Think of it as having different tools to build and tend to your internal home:
The Safe Foundation (Person-Centred Therapy): Empathy and deep respect are the bedrock of our work. This ensures that even as we challenge old habits, you feel completely supported and we only move at a speed you are comfortable with.
The Architecture & Rewiring (CBT & Narrative Therapy): We will actively identify the "glitches" in your thinking and the unhelpful stories you’ve been told about yourself, rewiring them into beliefs that actually support your goals.
The Emotional Compass (Emotion-Focused Therapy): Often, we try to think our way out of feeling. We will safely explore any heavy emotions that keep you stuck, using them as a compass to guide you toward what you truly need.
Resolving the Conflicts (Gestalt & Parts Work): When you feel "stuck," it’s often because different parts of you are pulling in opposite directions. We will bring these hidden parts to the table to resolve the inner conflict, clearing the way for personal accountability and moving forwards.
The Soul’s Blueprint (Astrology, Tarot & Soul Planning): To aid our traditional techniques, I use esoteric systems as a beautiful, symbolic language. We can use these dynamic tools to quickly bypass mental roadblocks and gain a higher perspective on your life's direction.
Creating Lasting Momentum (Hypnotherapy): When appropriate, we can use hypnosis to calm the nervous system and plant the seeds of our conscious work deep in your subconscious, helping you transform negative behaviours more quickly.
